Recent discoveries in nano-technology indicate a vast opportunity to increase our understanding of nautural processes previously hidden from mankind. New equipment is facillitating these new discoveries at an exponential rate of growth.
The CFP will ensure that adequate financial resources are made available to acquire the eqipment and fund the research programmes and develop commercial applications at a world competition level.
| Biotechnology is a rapidly developing field that can produce wonderful advances or terrible threats to people and our environment. The CFP supports the development of appropriate guidelines, controls and incentives to benefit and protect our society. |
